My childhood. ICE CREAM and MUSIC. It's what I remember as a child. Mint Chocolate Chip. Rebellious Punk Rock! Toasted Almond Ice Cream Bars. Bass thumping Hip Hop! Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches. New Wave raves. Chocolate Dip Cones. Guitar crunching Classic Rock! Lemon Ice Pops. Smooth R&B. ICE CREAM and MUSIC. Need I say more?

Roc Kat Ice Cream Co. is the union of former New York City foodie treasure hunter and now Miami explorer Allan Vino's two loves, ICE CREAM and MUSIC.  When I'm savoring that perfect spoonful of ice cream, it's like an AC/DC concert in my mouth!  I just associate delicious ice cream with my favorite musicians. Butter Almond, I think of Depeche Mode. Coconut, I'm hearing Marvin Gaye in my head. Rocky Road, I'm hearing John Bonham's thundering drums in Led Zeppelin. It's definitely odd, but it's how I feel! I want others to feel the same euphoria I do. Hence, Roc Kat Ice Cream Co. was imagined!

I want to take ice cream from the mundane to the otherworldly! Like the unknown musician playing in the local bingo hall to blowing ear drums out at Madison Square Garden! Roc Kat Ice Cream Co. awakens the palate by striving to use seasonal, natural and locally sourced ingredients when available. The symphony of robust flavors sings because ingredients are harvested fresh from local farms or purchased from neighborhood food artisans and churned into ice cream soon after.
